We at Greenwood are sensitive to your special needs at a time of personal loss, and strive to make arrangements as easy as possible for your family.  If you own property at Greenwood, you need only tell your funeral director and he or she will work with us to complete arrangements for a service.  We will contact you only if necessary, i.e., you have a large family lot, and we need you to tell us exactly which space should be used for the service, or if we have a question pertaining to heirship.

If you are not a current property owner, but choose Greenwood for your family, your funeral director will provide us preliminary information about your service and we will wait for you to arrive at our office to make property arrangements (see Purchasing Greenwood Property).  Some families choose to come to the cemetery prior to making arrangements with a funeral director, which is perfectly acceptable.  We will then advise whichever funeral home you choose that you have obtained property at Greenwood and further the arrangements with them.

"Opening and closing" charges is a standard fee charged by all cemeteries, and simply means preparing and finishing  the site before and after your service.  Greenwood offers services Monday through Friday at the following rates:  $700 without tent, grass and chairs, $850 with.  Services beginning later than 3 p.m. or on Saturday's are charged an additional $150.  

Extra seating is available, usually at no extra charge, but subject to availability.  Military and fraternal organization honor ceremonies are welcomed and may be arranged through your funeral director.
